A PIECE OF MY HEART...are you a night or day person?

I am a night person. I like to stay up late at night, sometimes even into the wee hours of the early morning. It is at this time of the night that I get alot of my writing done. The house is quiet. Everyone is in bed. I turn the TV off, and just spend time doing the things that I need to get accomplished. With no interruptions.

My husband, on the other hand, is a early riser. He likes to get a good start at his day early in the morning before sunrise. His most productive time is early before anybody else at our house is even thinking of getting up. So he tends to tire out early in the evening.

DAY OR NIGHT
which one are you?

The Bible talks about day people and night people. But it is not referring to our sleep habits. It is referring to whether or not we have embraced Christ.

Many times our culture makes it difficult to distinguish between people when it comes to eternity. But according to scripture, the world is divided into two kinds of people - night people and day people. Many of us may have trouble identifying who is who - but God is able to.

At the end of time, those who have chosen darkness will enter into a eternal darkness. And those who have chosen light will enter into the eternal light of heaven.

We do have a choice, and we must be careful to not allow the darkness to overshadow the light!

EPHESIANS 5:8,9 "Once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true."

and that is a piece of my heart today;

Great post, Laurie. Praying people will walk out of the darkness and into His everlasting light of salvation.

I used to be a morning person as a child and even when Kristyn was growing up. Now I find that I'm more of a night owl. Funny how our bodies change.
