This weekend, my husband and I are celebrating 28 years of marriage. Time sure does have a way of passing by quickly. I was a young bride 28 years ago, just 2 months shy of my 18th birthday...so much yet to learn. What a marvelous adventure, this thing we call life and marriage. I wouldn't trade one day or one moment!
This week I had a precious note from my aunt, who just recently lost her precious husband. She wrote and said, "Laurie, I hope you make it to 52 years like we did!" I do too!
Now that our children are grown and we only have one left in the house ... it almost feels like we are starting over. A fresh new start. A new adventure seems to begin after raising kids. As marvelous as the first round was, I am looking forward to round two of this spectacular adventure!
