WORD POWER..."Hodegos (hod-ayg-os)"

Today's WORD POWER is packed with guidance.

HODEGOS (hod-ayg-os)
-noun

1. a leader of the way, a guide
2. a teacher of the ignorant and inexperienced

WEBSTER says that a leader is one who has influence or power.

WHO LEADS YOU? ~
WHO HAS THE MOST INFLUENCE OVER YOU?
We all have been given the ability to make choices. Everyday someone is faced with making a choice that may alter their future.

  • Who to marry?
  • Where to live?
  • What career choice to make?
  • What should we name our new baby?
  • Will I serve God today or not?

In just a few short weeks, we will all be given a choice to make. The result of our choice may alter not just our future but our children and grand children's future.

If a leader has power and influence over us...who will you choose to be our next Presidential (Hodegos) leader?

ROMANS 2:19 "are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, (20) an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, having the form of knowledge and truth in the law. (21)You, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that a man should not steal, do you steal? (22) You who say, 'do not commit adultery?' do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? (23) You who make your boast in the law, do you dishonor God through breaking the law? (24) For 'the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you,' as it is written.

"If they [my daughters] make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby."~Barak Obama (At a Town Hall Meeting in Johnstown, PA - March, 2008)

Is a baby "punishment" as one of our presidential candidates has indicated? I read a story of Rowan, a baby boy who was intended to be aborted but was born alive. CLICK HERE! to read his story. Babies are never a mistake or a punishment, this is just ONE of the differences our two candidates has to offer us. ON NOVEMBER 4TH...

~CHOOSE WISELY!~

Now that's a WORD packed with influence!

Awesome post, Laurie. I pray our country makes the right decision...I'm concerned, very concerned about the future of America if we go down the road I'm afraid we're headed.
