Give me some of His helium power!

I was reminded recently at my daughter's birthday party how important it is to remain filled with God's Spirit. After her party ended, some of the kids who lingered around, decided to have some fun with the helium filled balloons.

They were sucking all of the helium out of the balloons and then tried talking as quickly as they could before all of the helium ran out that they had inhaled. When they did this, their voice changed, almost as if they were a different person.

Much like that helium balloon, when we inhale the Spirit of God, He not only fills our lungs up, but our mind, our tongue, and our spirit. The problem that many of us experience is that we don't remain filled, we allow that one filling to be enough for us. But, like the balloon that runs out of air, without a continual filling of God's Spirit, we too, will run out Spiritual air.

Acts 4:31 "And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness."

In order for us to remain different, we must continually seek the helium power - God's Holy Spirit! Have you inhaled His power today?

AMEN on the blog my sister. It speaks so much truth and thanks for giving the example for us to look at it. Jesus does fill us in every way.
