THANKFUL THURSDAY...a loving friend

In my lifetime, I have met alot of people who I would consider my friend. But the friends that I would call my "BFF", those that are closest to me, the ones that have been by my side thru thick and thin are few in number.

Face it, friends come and go in our lives. It may be because interests change, or someone relocates or just possibly life just happens and there seems to be no time to invest in your friendship.

One of my favorite verses is found in Proverbs 17:17, it is a constant reminder to me of the kind of friend that God desires me to be. "A friend loves at all times".

The friends that I consider my closest friends are godly women, who are not only friendly, but they are faithful! Faithful to keep my confidence, faithful to keep me in their prayers and faithful to love me no matter what!

Recently, I was gathered with some of those true and faithful girlfriends of mine. (Patsy, Wanda, Renee and Tina) These ladies have been my friends for a long time and I love them dearly.

As much as I cherish our friendship, there is yet another friend that exemplifies this verse in Proverbs, and that would be my good and faithful friend Jesus Christ. You will find no other friend like Him.

He will love you at all times!!! What a cherished friend to have.

IRIS is hosting THANKFUL THURSDAY this week. Please make a visit to her and rejoice with all of the grateful hearts over there! Click HERE to find TT!

Great picture of some of the most precious ladies that I know! I am so thankful for my dear friends and yes, some come and go but the ones that stay are so dear to my heart!

Love you, Laurie!

Yes, friends are truly a gift especially those who stick by you through the good and not so good times. But how true that Jesus is our friend who never leaves us. And we can count on that.

Hugs,
Debbie

I call friends like that "forever friends." I've had friends that come and go in different seasons of life, but the ones that you can always pick up where you left off - those are few and far between.

Thanks for sharing about your friends!

We are so blessed to have dear heart-friends. I don't know where I would be right now without them.

Hey, I need some of my COG sisters to comment on my vlog. :o)

Bless you dear!
Beth
