Falling down is no fun. I can remember when my kids were toddlers, they would fall down all of the time. Sometimes they would get so frustrated when they would fall down that they would just sit there, cry and not even try to get up.
Life can be just like that for us grown ups sometimes. We fall. We fall again and we keep falling. We get so frustrated that we just want to give up, stop trying, throw in the towel and just quit!
Occasional disappointments and failures are an inevitable part of life. Some setbacks are just simply the price of growing up and learnng about life. A toddler who falls down over and over again because they are just learning to get their balance just needs to get up and try again. Along the way, he/she may need mommy or daddy to come along to give them a hand, to encourage them and to pick them up.
When life gives you disappointments, instead of being a frustrated christian...
be a faithful christian!
God is faithful, even when we fall down. Perseverance not perfection is what He is looking for. So if you have fallen (and you will) .... get back up, dust yourself off and try, try and try again.
This as usual was inspiring and such a good reminder. It's me for sure. The falling down part anyway, haha...It is hard isn't it sometimes to just keep getting up...but how wonderful to know that the Lord is there holding out His hand to help every time. Have a wonderful day. Blessings to you, Debbie
