Today, Iris is challenging us over at THANKFUL THURSDAY to have hope. Hope is something that we all need in today's culture.
The economy seems hopeless.
The job market seems hopeless.
The money market seems hopeless.
No matter how tough our present circumstances seem, we as Christians, have hope for the future! Of course, while on this earth, we will all face disappointments and failures but we must remember that these are only temporary defeats.
When we place our trust in the Giver of all good things, we can be secure. God has promised us peace, joy and eternal life. And God keeps His promises today, tomorrow and forever.
PROVERBS 23:18 "There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off."
No matter what comes your way,
don't ever stop believing in your Promised Land!
Please join IRIS and other grateful hearts over at GRACE ALONE for this weeks THANKFUL THURSDAY!
Yes, well said. While on this earth we will have disappointments. Our flesh may not be satisfied but when we allow His Spirit to occupy every part of us, we can have peace in the midst of conflict. And not despair but instead hope. Happy thankful Thursday to you!
