Each decision
Each opportunity
...it is building character
...it is developing you
...it is molding you
Just as it takes time to BUILD something, it also takes time to DESTROY something.
alittle at a time
~one look
~one thought
~one lie
One then leads to two
and it is the 2nd look that can destroy you.
"SLOW FADE"...by Casting Crowns
"It's a slow fade
when you give yourself away
It's a slow fade when black and white have turned to gray
Thoughts invade,
choices are made,
a price will be paid
When you give yourself away
people never crumble in a day
It's a slow fade, it's a slow fade"
IS THERE SOMETHING SLOWLY FADING FROM YOUR LIFE?
- your family
- your devotion to God
- your daily Bible reading
- your beliefs
- your honesty
- your character
PHILIPPIANS 4:8 " Finally, Brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things."

ReplyDeleteDidn't know this one but as I read the words & your message, I knew I would love it...I pray that nothing of CHRIST is fading from my life!
Big version of the little ears song for little ones meant for us too!
My fade happened a while ago...
you are so right...it's a choice, a decision...and I pay the price! But the real truth is that Jesus paid it for me!!! So I have become much more careful in what I see or hear.
What goes in is what goes out!
This is a wonderful song! It is the 1st time that I've heard it and I loved it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing it!

Hi, Laurie. Thanks so much for your sweet comments you left on my Thankful Thursday post regarding my sister and her family preparing to go to the mission field in the next few months. I was so touched that you would want to include them on your prayer blog. I spoke with her on Friday just to run it past her before I gave the OK and she was just as touched. She says it just never ceases to amaze her all the wonderful people that are out there willing to pray for them without even knowing them.
ReplyDeletePlease feel free to add their names and thank you. I will try to keep updates posted on my blog so that you and all my other sweet blogging friends will know best how to pray.
Blessing to you, my friend!
