THEN SINGS MY SOUL SATURDAY...that's what love is

Today on my blog, I am celebrating THEN SINGS MY SOUL SATURDAY. What a beautiful day to give God the glory for His magnificent work in our lives. Yesterday, I stood and watched my son Jeremy become a husband. What a beautiful and heart-stirring moment!

In honor of love today, I wanted to share one of my favorite songs by David Phelps (who is also my favorite artist!) "THAT'S WHAT LOVE IS"....

(make sure you scroll down to my blog music and
"mute" it first before you listen to the video!)

To lift your spirit today, check out AMY at Signs, Miracles and Wonders to see other wonderful songs on Then Sings My Soul Saturday. FIND THEM HERE!

  2. "You pray for faith when it’s hard to believe.
You choose to stay when it’s easy to leave
And when hope is gone you’re the one who keeps holding on...
    That’s what love is
When you give until there’s nothing left
And it makes you give the very best.
    That’s what love is.
It can make you laugh and make you cry.
It can let you down and lift you up so high
When you find the only reason left to live.
    That’s what love is...
It’s being strong when you’re weak yourself.
Though it tears you up you trust again.
    Hatred loses and forgiveness wins...
It’s reaching out and holding on so someone else will know.
Love is in the not letting go."

    What love can compare to this...that He laid this His life for His friends? Wonderful love song. Thanks for sharing. I got emotional over here. By the way, you look so young to have a son who just got married. God keeps you young looking! I'm amazed! Congratulations! Be ready to fall in love when the little bundles come.{hugs}

  3. I had never heard this song, and it was a nice reminder as the focus of much of my personal work with the Lord lately has been concerning my marriage.
