Isaiah 52 says, “Awake, awake! Shake yourself from the dust, arise!”I suppose we could say that sometimes we become sleepy Christians or dusty ones.

“If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."All of us ladies are really mothers, you know, no matter if you bore your own child or not, we are ALL called to nurture, love and mentor, especially the children. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others” (Philippians 2:3-4).Paul addressed a destructive attitude—selfishness. Focusing on ourselves and our own interests at the expense of others will ultimately leave us isolated and ineffective. I loved the feeling of unity I felt last night. There was not one selfish body in the room.
